I dont think its new to any 20 year old star... making millions... But Hall and Eberle were the least of the Oilers problems during that time... They played better hung over than the ones not... Then you throw Eakins logic in there... what a (frank)ing mess

Hall and Eberle were clearly a problem to some degree. When you get paid millions to play a game you owe it to the team and your team mates to not be total dip poops and lead by example.

Katz and Co created the issue by treating them like rock stars and allowing them to pull that crap.

What he's basically saying is that these guys were young, there's lots of time to get blitzed at the bar when the playoffs are done, whether it's 4 rounds or 1 round. This was the playoffs, man up or shut up! Don't cry about how you want to win and then be pulling all nighters! Growing pains with kids!

So in other news that isn’t old....anyone else hearing of this Lucic for Backes trade scenerio?.....I would do it just based on the fact that buying out Backes after the season costs us 10 mil while Lucic would cost us 21 mil

I forgot that Hall wasn't there for the playoff run. For some reason I was thinking he was traded after that playoff run. Either way I/m pretty sure McDavid isn't going to be a hard partyer when/if you're on the cusp of a playoff spot.
